I thought it was great!! Dave, you went above and beyond getting there so early to save space. Space was gone by time we got there, but had great seats near the stage.

I know what I know and I saw what I saw. Talented musicians, but I took the trouble to look up some recent reviews. This has been going on for some time. I wasn't insulted. Who said anything about being insulted? Are you related to these guys or something? Geese!

The MTB was an embaressment. The lead singer was either drunk or stoned, and couldn't even cue in his prerecorded voice properly to lipsync to.
Thanks to our volunteers for saving some space. You guys are great.

I wish to thank Dave for saving as much space as he did. We had three or four tables full of food for the crowd. Took space on one of the blankets and if he had not reserved us space with the other organizers I do not want to think about what it would have been like. Great job folks and the weather was perfect. Left a little early, but did not wantnto get in that traffic jam,. Enjoyed the night and thanks again for the folks who went at 9 that morning to set up.

Great concert, thought I would only be on and around stage taking photos of the band for just the 1st 3 songs then afterwards planned on enjoy being with you all but the band members and tour Mgr insisted I stay much longer, it was a blast hanging out and talking with them. Thanks Dave, enjoyed spending time with you and other M.U. participants after the concert at Firestone.

I will be joining the group at Woodstock this evening. I have a little problem....I have a concert at the Atl BBQ Fest and a sit in at the One Music Fest. I will be running to get to Woodstock. Would someone hold a couple of spots for me and my hubby? Where will you be located in the park?

    September 14, 2013

    • Dave G

i was already there early this morning and have set up the tables and a large amount of blankets (thanks to the women that helped). However, by 9:30, the park was getting full. It is clear that you need to be early to this concert, not late. While I have saved a large amount of space. It is not possible to hold it once our members fill in the space I saved. Thanks to the City of Woodstock. When I got there, they had people there and knew our group was coming and directed me where to set up. We are along the green fence with a lot of space saved by blankets, table clothes and chairs in front and to the side of the tables. If you come from the Gazebo, go down the steps and we are to the left. If you come from the stage, we are to the right. If you come down the steps by the police trailer, we are to the far left. Some of us will be there by 5 pm or so. The weather is perfect so come early and socialize before the concert. Bring a dish to share.

We will be located along the fence. We usually set up to the right of the stage near the portopotties but the City of Woodstock asked me to place the group along the fence for this concert. We will have several (at least 3) food tables set up along the fence. I will save as much space as is possible but if you live near downtown Woodstock, I would suggest going and placing your chairs or blankets down near our tables (I will have them and my blankets set up tomorrow morning) as early as possible. I would also suggest an arrival time of no later than 6. We can socialize by the tables before the concert or if you wish, go into Woodstock and enjoy the boutiques, bars and restaurants. If you arrive later on, good luck finding space.

I usually head to the Woodstock outdoor market every Saturday morning so how early can I set up my chair and blanket? What time do you think you will be there in the morning?

      September 13, 2013

If anyone wants to carpool from the East Cobb/Roswell area let me know. Carpooling will make parking much easier as this is a crowded part of town for these shows. [masked] if you want to discuss.

Listener (not me) Review of 8/11/2013 concert in Webster, MA: Love MTB. Have since 1975. Always will. For the most part, the current MTB fires on all cylinders. Unfortunately, Doug Gray's vocals do not anymore. This makes the second time in the past couple of years that I've seen MTB and Doug has soured. He is getting up there in age, which I can appreciate. We all are!
