Six weeks of Dance Lessons for $60(total cost)-East Coast Swing, Cha-Cha & Rumba

The reviews of our first six week dance lesson class with Sean Christopher received such good reviews, we thought we would do it again. This series of lessons is intermediate. So if you signed up for the original lessons, come continue those lessons with the next series.    This time, we event made the location closer in.  We will be in Norcross at Oceans Bar & Grill.  Not only is Oceans a great place to dance but they have great food and drink.

Therefore, join your Celebrate Atlanta friends for six weeks (2 hours every Tuesday beginning July 30 from 7 to 9 pm) of dance lessons taught by Sean Christopher from Dancing4fun. The Celebrate Atlanta cost is $60 paid on the first night. That means you are paying just $10 per lesson. Members will learn East Coast Swing, the Cha Cha, Rumba and if time permits, the Tango.

Lessons will be taught at Oceans Bar & Grill on Jimmy Carter in Norcross.  This is a very convenient location and is not far from 85, Peachtree Industrial or Buford Highway!!!

So what does Sean Christopher have to say about dancing and this series of classes?

Just give it a chance I promise, you won’t regret it. I’m living testimonythat anyone can learn how to dance and that you can take it as far as you want to. If you were to tell me 14 years ago that I will be teaching salsa & cha cha classes and doing dance exhibitions & entering local dance competitions someday I would’ve thought you were crazy!!

I want to share my experiences with you, calm your fears, and teach you some fun and exciting steps in Latin, Swing and Ballroom dancing that is sure to get you on your way to becoming king and queen of any dance floor.

At the very least I can you show that dancing is not only fun but a great way to meet new “friends” and if you have all the friends you need. Dancing can just be another fun activity that you can enjoy together.

Anyway.. I started Dancing For Fun so I can share with you the joy of dance like I've experienced and still experiencing in my life and so have many others around the world, I realized at the age of 17 that Ballroom, Swing, and Latin dancing is for people of all ages.

I mean why just a dinner and a movie on a Friday night; why not dinner, a movie and dancing on a Friday night. Doesn't that sound so much more fun. I Hope I gave you enough details about my background... Feel free to ask me any question you want..

See you on the dance floor!!

Already decided to come back but am primarily interested in the Swing. Thought I was holding back the class too much but I will let you, and them, be the judge of that.

The teacher was great, this student was not. Demoted myself from "intermediate" to the next beginners class. I at least met some really nice people tonight. I will get there eventually - no hurry.

I'll speak Sean about starting a Wednesday evening class and the starting time, when I see him tomorrow night. Then I speak with Dave about posting a meet up for it. As I said perversely, the Class will held at the same location and pricing will remain the same as before. Will keep everyone here posted. Thanks for everyone's interest.

    Norm:
I love East Coast Swing and Cha-Cha but I already signed up for a Zumba class this Tuesday and a painting class at Picasso's Corner next Tuesday. That being said... I would love to take the classes when you get them set up for Wednesdays. I love dance classes. I might be able to talk a couple of other people into going.

Kathie, I'll see if we can start another beginners class in September. It would be on Wednesday evenings same location. If we can get enough people for the class.

Although I am already an experienced dancer, I would volunteer to come as an extra female partner if your numbers should change and you end up with more male students than female. Let me know if I can be of assistance.

    Hi Diane.

We share partners through out the class time . So, Yes.

Are dance partners provided for single ladies?

I spoke with Sean about another beginners class. If enough people have an interest. He could start a beginners class on Wednesday nights. Donna, you could try the intermediate classes or wait to see, if there is interest in starting another beginners group. As to, how hard it would be to catch up with the present class. Depends on each person, some might be able, while others wouldn't care for it.

Ok - thanks Norm. Will wait to see if another beginners class will form.

New to the group. When will you have another beginner's class?

    July 22, 2013

  • Donna Goode

Do you think beginners would have a hard time? Would love to come. Location is great for me.

    July 22, 2013

  • Norm

Possibly, if there is enough interest.
