Brookwood Grill - Piano Bar & Patio Martini Happy Hour - free food for Members

Join Celebrate Atlanta for another high end happy hour at the Brookwood Grill.  Pull up a seat at the piano, request a song and sing along.  Enjoy the beautiful patio. How about some delicious food. Brookwood Grill will be providing Celebrate Atlanta a special menu designed specifically for our members.  The food is provided to members free of charge. Of course, for a full meal, the extensive menu is also available in the Piano Bar area.  To top it off, we will have a long list of $5 martinis.

The free menu for Celebrate will be:

Spinach Artichoke Dip which is served warm with Tortilla Chips, Salsa, and Sour Cream

Baked Ziti

This will not be what some like to call passed around appetizers (code for limited and deep fried).  There will be plenty for all.

$5 MARTINIS

Skinny Martini - Vodka, Fresh Lime juice, Splash of Cranberry

Peach Martini - Vodka, Peach liquor, Orange Juice

Cosmopolitan Martini - Vodka, Triple Sec. Splash of Cranberry

Apple Martini - Vodka, Sour Apple Schnapps, Splash of Sour

Lemon Drop Martini - Vodka, Triple Sec, Splash of Sour

Sunset Martini - Vodka, Triple Sec, Splash of Pineapple and Cranberry

Zagat gives Brookwood Grill a great review:

FOOD 23

DECOR 21

SERVICE 22

Restaurant Inspection Score 100

Zagat says -The “menu seldom changes and neither does the clientele” at this longtime Roswell American that “hits the nail on the head” when it comes to “dependable”, “something-for-everyone” dining overseen by a “welcoming” staff; “intimate” booths allow social types to “actually talk”, though party animals are pumped by the “active scene” in the piano bar where the “entertainment is great” but the “singing drunk patrons are better.”

The only thing that Celebrate will be changing is the cost.  $5 Martinis and free food equals great food, drink and a great deal. So join us for another sophisticated happy hour as we enjoy great music, great food, great drinks and most importantly, the company of great friends.

Important Note:

Please note that per a discussion with Brookwood Grill, we are limiting attendance at this event due to continual walk-in's creating service and space issues, the complaining about it, even though they are the people causing the problem.  Walk-ins for this event are subject to removal from CA.  Due to the space limits, members are being limited to 1 guest.  If you have more guests, they will need to join the group and sign up for the event.

We have also eliminated the meatballs.  Last time, we had people taking plate full of meatballs, then throwing them away because they took way too many.  In so doing, 90% of the attendees ended up getting no meatballs because a few selfish members loaded up, even though they could not eat what they took.  The remedy? Eliminate the problem by eliminate the meatballs.  Moral of the story.  If you want to be part of a social group, be fair to all members.

Brookwood Gril is really a nice place. I had a good time and loved the piano bar with everyone singing and dancing. Excellent time, and by the way no meatballs were served just ziti and spinach dip.

We were not serving meatballs. We did it last time but 90% of the members did not get any because a few made pigs of themselves and took huge platefuls only to not eat them (who can eat huge platefuls of meatballs?). This led to a few members getting them and most not getting any. Due to the behavior a few, we eliminated the meatballs for this event. If things are going to be abused, they are not going to be repeated.

I said no to it. Was not a no show

      November 14, 2013

    • Dave G

Then you did not say no correctly, because you were on the going list (wing cafe) and were listed as a no show. Saying no is a two step process and if you stop at step one, you remain on the going list.

I have another obligation tonight and I THOUGHT I would be able to do both, but am finding it to be impossible to do Brookwood and still make it over to Firefly early enough to help them kick off their event. Hoping to see you all soon... have fun!

no. You have to add them in the guest box, when and if we have openings. We will have plenty of turnover the next day.

This is a case of a few members causing a problem for everyone else. A few members complained to the managers that the crowd made service hard. They think that by complaining, management will have more servers. Unfortunately, that is short sighted. If service is hard due to so many people, why would they bring in more servers which adds even more people? Thus, the answer is to cut the crowd severely. It happened again last night at trivia. A member complained about the food and service. Get over it. When you put a large group together, SERVICE WILL SLOW!!!!!! So what happens? The venues read the comments and say, that member said the FREE appetizer was bad. Response, from venue? Scew this. If the get panned, why give us free food? Brilliant.

    Thanks

Not only are you not signed up, you are not even on the wait list. Due to restrictions by the venue as to attendance, walk-ins will be removed from the group.

I decided to start Reno Motorcycle Riders Group because I wanted to be part of a group of people who enjoyed my passion... I was excited and nervous. Our group has grown by leaps and bounds. I never thought it would be this big.
