Fire in the Belly: Manifestation through Nature February Circle

(This event is Rain or Shine - unless the roads are hazardous or temps fall below 20 degrees)

February has always been the toughest month - deep in the heart of Winter, weeks of cold, snowy winter. At this time, our ancient ancestors were put to the test, as supplies started to dwindle and the promise of Spring still far down the road. For these reasons, February came to feature many fire festivals, and knitted together the community to push through those final weeks.

Here's how these Manifestation through Nature circles will work:
~ We'll gather together in the parking lot and walk together to a spot that has a lot of energy. As we walk, if you notice a particular "hot spot", please feel free to share.
~ We will create a circle, and do some exercises to open up our senses to the wisdom of the spirit of place
~ We'll then go off on our own, to dialog with Nature, to gain insight or address whatever our spirit needs, for about 20 minutes.
~ We'll then reconvene back in circle, to share what we've discovered, or to explore any additional questions that may have come up. This will be your opportunity to share ... experience has proven that when we verbalize our experiences or intentions, we activate the co-creational principle of Nature, and our intentions manifest quicker.
~ Then, we'll open our circle and make our merry way back home.

Linda, I saw the gates were closed and headed over to Manasquan Reservoir. Had a beautiful walk in the snow filled woods. See you soon. Diana

Have to cancel ... in Florida with Mom who just got out of the hospital. If I'm back in time, I will re-confirm since this activity sounds like something my spirit needs right now. Peace and blessings!

So sorry to hear about your mom - hope she is doing better. If you can't make it today, perhaps you can join us for a future meet up. Many blessings to you as well!

I am new to meetup groups and your group sounded interesting. I like the fact that you give a high regard towards Nature. I like the way you share your observations. I would like to join a meet up with your group.

Welcome to the group and thanks for your kind words. We actively engage with Mother Nature to not only gain insight and clarity but to reinforce our sacred connection with Her. I'm glad to hear this resonates with you!

Is there any way to join the meeting through Skype..??

    January 22, 2014

    • Linda M.

No, this meet up is all about being in Nature, and being in face-to-face community. Technology removes us from Source.

Might want to check out the bent over and back up tree near the corner of the train parking lot going toward the concession / rest rooms. Trees were bent over and trained to grow up that way by early Indians to show direction toward an important place like a village or a portage cross a river or bog. I haven't found out what it was pointing to. May you find an answer.

At the end, when we reconvene back in circle, I'll invite you all to share your experiences - and I'll probably coach you a little, to help you deepen your experiences. If you're not comfortable sharing, you are free to pass - but I do encourage you to allow me to help you ground what you learned.

And as always, a portion of all proceeds gets donated to the park.
