Integrating Spirituality into our Work Life

For many their work life consumes more time than any other one activity. The workplace (office, home, virtual, employee, self-employed) offers many rich opportunities for soul growth, - in relationships, authority figures and OPs (other people), group dynamics, dysfunction, prosperity and other issues. Spirituality – however you define it – is not something we can leave at home on the way to the office. Integrating Spiritual awareness and practices into our work life can bring balance, harmony, and Light which transforms the work life experience (self and others). Considering the amount of time and attention that is consumed by “work” the resulting transformation touches many other aspects of our life and the people in it.

Maggie, a member of CSA, will share some ideas and facilitate a discussion on the practical side of integrating spiritual awareness and practice while at engaged in workplace. She will touch upon the importance of mindfulness, visualization, self-talk, mini-meditation and “eye candy”. She will discuss the importance of letting go of criticism, and condemnation and finally ways to reduce stress, manage energy, and deal with people or situations that ‘drain’ you.

Maggie brought us great ways to integrate our spiritual knowings into our everyday life. We had mini group discussions about our work challenges and came up with solutions to share with the whole group.
The evening was uplifting, fun and inspiring!
