Not as nutritious last year; focus was on pizza, beer & cookies. Delicious, but no fruit, cheese or veggies (as previously) -- save for the pizza toppings. And seems there was less vendor participation

I had a great time. I have friends in the company, so it's always nice to see them perform. The food from Pala was enjoyable, albeit a little less than ideal since it wasn't exactly piping hot out of the oven, but I realize circumstances dictate the terms. It was great to have some delicious and safe pizza to eat, with a nice beer to wash it down. Many thanks to Alan and the PTDC, and everyone else involved.

The reception was wonderful- great food, great beer, and great company- all gluten-free :) Paul Taylor was really fun as well. I am definitely returning next year.

Reception was advertised as providing snacks, but although I arrived at 6 PM the food was nearly gone.
Also disappointed that there was no one I could find to discuss the research being done at Columbia.
The Paul Taylor program was disappointing.

The dance program was fantastic, especially the last performance. Thank you all for supporting the Celiac Disease Center at this event.

To everyone with fundraiser tickets to the event, please join us at 5:45pm for the pre-performance reception at the New York City Center theater. Just tell the front-door ushers that you are there for the gluten-free, Celiac event and they will show you where to go. See you there!

Kirstin, it's a lot of fun, and the pizza and gift bags are great -- and then you have a show by a world famous dance troupe to boot! How do we do it? I guess it helps that I'm both celiac and PTDC's marketer; that's the why... as far as the how, it's great to have the Meetup Group's support as well as that of Pala, Glow Gluten-Free Cookies, Foods by George, Celiebo restaurant cards, Bard's GF Beer and all the other generous contributors. Look forward to meeting you.

Really excited for this event! I heard it was amazing last year. I am really looking forward to Pala pizza--and gift bag. How do you do it?

I've been to the City Center each of the previous two seasons to see the PTDC put on their show for the New York audience before they set off to tour the country and the world. It was, each time, a phenomenal experience. You won't often witness such feats of grace and athleticism, in any venue.

Hi everyone. For those of you concerned about the price, please remember that your ticket price includes Pala pizza, a gift bag, a performance ticket, and a donation to the Celiac Disease Center.

For those who don't know Paul's work, this evening is guaranteed to be magnificent. Two of the three dances are among Paul's most popular ever -- "Company B," with songs by the Andrews Sisters, revisits the high-spirited 40s, but never forgets the sacrifices of those fighting at the front. And "Promethean Fire," often said to be Paul's response to 9/11, is majestic in scope and poignant in feeling -- the only work to use all 16 Taylor dancers at once. With pizza from Pala, this is a sure hit!

Please note, there are service charges on these tickets. Sorry for any confusion.

I started the group because there wasn't any other type of group like this. I've met some great folks in the group who have become close friends and have also met some amazing business owners.
