Meditation and Celebration!

In December – The Metaphysics of Making Merry

We move into the darkest time of year with a joyful message of love and light: make merry—illumination is coming! The metaphysical message of the Christmas season is this: All will be enlightened to the degree that we embrace the Coming of the Christ Consciousness, the birth of a new way of thinking and being, then allow that light to shine forth. Celebrate! Make merry! The Light of the World is coming!

I was created for Joy and I live joyfully, allowing my Light to shine effortlessly forth. I walk in happy expectancy of Divine Good, making merry and honoring that which created me by nurturing a joyful heart. I fill my life with Joy! And so it is!

Spiritual Practice

Prepare for the advent of something new by doing something new: take a different route to work, paint a wall or paint your entire kitchen, learn to bake a pie or change a light fixture, choose a new mantra for meditation, buy a new outfit in that color you’ve always wanted to wear but didn’t dare. Just do something new and different, then notice how newness feels.

Note that our December 29 and January 5 services will be held at the South Bellevue Community Center, not the North Bellevue Community Center.

December 29  RSVP Regrets Only

This Sunday, throw your own private New Year's Eve party! The host is your own heart and the caterer is the Divine Spirit as you release the past year and create a space for the good of the new year to unfold. If you're hanging on to old stories, old regrets, time to let it all go so you'll be ready for 2014: Your Best Year Yet!

"The highest attitude of mind, from which all else springs, is one of perfect calm and absolute trust in the Spirit. Can you with perfect confidence look into the future and with perfect ease of mind rest in the present? Do you never look back in regret? If you reflect on your past do you use it to illuminate your present and future? Have you learned to be still in your own soul and wait upon the Spirit? Then you are the one who will the most completely demonstrate the supremacy of spiritual thought over all so-called material resistance. 'Be still and know that I Am God.' "

I'm surprised by the level of growth I've seen since becoming an organizer, it's given me more confidence in my abilities.
