I expect to help build and support a community of Raspberry Pi users and developers in the Central Florida Area. I hope to inspire and assist others with their endeavors with this new exciting platform.
I have three version 1.0 "B" models (Includes ethernet port) and have tested the Debian Squeeze, Raspian, and Occidentalis bootloaders. I plan on testing more bootloader builds and presenting feedback via the meetups and posts on our sites.
I will make a presentation at each meetup pending the participation of other members.

The people that have joined so far are professionals, hardware/software developers makers and hackers for the most part. The college aged members interact like pros. There is a solid knowledge base to be tapped from CFRPUG! As of June 2013 we are seeing educators starting to join the group. This indicates that teachers are looking to the Raspberry Pi as a platform.
