We have now entered a New Year and hopes and dreams are working in action. I am helping you with the start of a new Challenge. We have now finished the cleansing section of the Challenge and having a feast today. I want as many of the Challenge members as possible to come, enjoy, talk to others and talk to me. Tell me where the problems lie so I can address them in the weeks to follow. Tell me how the seeds worked or are still working. Others of you come and enjoy the fellowship with like minds, enjoying your raw food family. I will continue to troubleshoot for the best event ever so I ask that when you respond you say
dish or
no dish. I do not mind you not knowing what the dish is just that there will be plenty of food. I want everyone to be full to satisfaction. I also want to make amounts that will give seconds and thirds even. Please know that I heard no complaints I just want our conversations and food to equal. We have some of the best conversations, even loving debates, come and get in on them. Please bring neighbors and friends I'd love to hear from you, see you and enjoy the evening with my raw food family! Our pot luck dinner is held at Church of the Good Shepherd on Lake Avenue in Maitland. We will enter and start setting up at 5pm and should start eating around 5:30pm. Please see the thread on the message board saying recipes, recipes, and more recipes for some recipe choices and sites to guide you. Choose and bring a raw, vegan (by this I mean a dish consisting of fresh ..... hopefully organic fruits, vegetables, nuts, seeds, sprouted grains and herbs only) dish that will feed at least 10 people with a donation of $3.00 or come and eat for a donation of $10.00. This helps me recover some of the cost of the church, utensils, and food. I try always to bring several dishes that will feed all of you. Hope to hear you respond and I will see you there! I hope as many of you that can, will join us for dinner and a "RAWKING GOOD TIME"!

The room was packed! And the vibrations in the room were energizing! Although too crowded to easiy get from chairs and tables to the buffet counter; it put one in contact with others, and I didn't mind the close quarters because the people I was "rubbing shoulders" with were congenial and "good energy people" to be connecting with. Chef Olive had a Sumptuous Feast as usual, with the help of everyone who brought parts of the Feast. If there had been 10 more people, she would have had to rent a bigger room. . . usually, there is the option of setting up tables on the patio outside--but the coldest weather in Florida in 30 years, (so the news says) precluded that. The "Buzz" in the room was enlivening. KUDOS to all the warm-hearted people who helped make it such a wonderful occasion.

The Prayer/Meditation/Healing/Energy-Balancing Circle that spontaneously evolved at the end was the climaxing Highlight of the Event for me--led by auto harp "troubadour-healer" PauloAmour.

I drove and hour to get there and it was well worth the trip! I sat with a great table of ladies and learned new ways to combine and work with ingredients, recipes, and where to get things. The food was excellent and gave me even more ideas!
