Raw Food Cleansing in Action

In this class I, "Chef Olive" will be making, and you will be trying many of the cleansing drinks spoke of in the free cleansing class. I am having this class to help you with ideas through taste for a "New Years Cleansing Experience". We will showcase a variety of cleansing drinks and will cover juicing with many juicer types, cleansing mixes, blended juice, cleansing waters, juice feasting and green smoothies. You will see ways to cleanse you inside and out. Let's make this a year of accomplishment. Begin to win in 2010. Making Raw Food your choice. Samadhi will be with us again to insert our ear seeds to help us with our cravings. These will only be for the Challenge members and Karen will be there to assist me in the kitchen. This will be the Challenge Start as a "Month of Sunday's". Join us for all the details and the fun! Cheers! $15.00 Juicing Class $75.00 Challenge

The room was almost too small for such a crowd! Thank you Olive for the information you provided and all of the delicious samples you shared with us as well.

It was wonderful - Chef Olive is an inspiration. Thanks to the yummy drink demos, I got a lot more daring with my smoothie this morning and tried new things... it turned out wonderful. I'm sorry i won't be around for next weeks pot luck - but i will not miss the remaining 3 sessions. Would love to go on the harvest... any idea when that will be? If it's this coming weekend i won't be around - but there after i might be able to go. I'll have to know ahead of time as - especially if it's a saturday, as i work saturday's...

Suggestion - this was my first meeting... don't know if you do this or not, but maybe having a sheet that you pass around during the class (that way there's no big line at the end) that people could sign up for ordering things - like the honey, and the draining bags she mentioned. I would love some honey and those bags, but wasn't sure how to order them??? Hugs from your Saint Lucy...

Chef Olive was very clear, enthusiastic and organized in her presentation. Her able assistants, Karen & Ohmni (sp.?)worked very harmoniously with her. The samples were delicious! Chef Olive was clear in presenting the various equipment options and manners of use. There was humor at times appropriate to the subject matter. The handout was very clear and easy to read and use. Made me want to "Take the Challenge" and go more raw and healthy. It was a beautiful event in a beautiful setting!

AFTER the Event, as I was shopping in Whole Foods, an amazing demonstration of "Miracle" Timing occurred that was directly relevant to the 21-Day Raw Food Challenge starting immediately. (For the "Whole Story," go to the "Green Smoothies for Life!!!!! discussion section (last page) on this Meetup Site's Messsage Board:)

Thanks so much everyone! I appreciate your patience and understanding. This meetup was supposed to be outside because the room was still under construction. I can not override management and waiting is sometimes hard but it was worth the wait. It was too cold to be outside and too busy to be inside the cafe. Your comfort was most important as the other option was to cancel the class. That was not an option for me at that late date. I am glad it could happen! We needed the coverage to go in the order specified. Please know that I apreciate you all and understand others disappointment.

Chef olive very good as always. Maybe some food prepping before the class will help things move faster. Fewer questions would be good. People should be using their heads and thinking a bit and researching before tying everyone up with the "should i use one banana or a half?" (A: whatever you want. It's YOUR experience). And with a large group, it is imperative that everyone refrains from the side conversations. Everyone misses the content with the rows being so close together. Just suggesting for a better experience for everyone!

I decided to start Reno Motorcycle Riders Group because I wanted to be part of a group of people who enjoyed my passion... I was excited and nervous. Our group has grown by leaps and bounds. I never thought it would be this big.
