10th Annual Thanks-Living Dinner

                             10th Annual Thanks-Living Dinner

So honored to have so many respond without knowing the menu. There was an overwhelming amount of you loving last years as the best making me happy in almost repeating the menu.

Heart full and at our Lovely Sandy Bonus Studio, on Thanksgiving Day we will dine, relax and enjoy the evening.

Your menu (and it can possibly change slightly depending on available items) will be :

Drinks: Cranberry Hibiscus Limeade and Rosemary Vanilla Water (my favorite), and Green Ginger Habanero Wine Punch.

Cinnamon Sliced Navel Oranges and Spiced Seed/Nuts to munch at will throughout the evening.

We'll enjoy a Tossed Salad with Persimmon/Ginger Dressing, My Famous "Cranberry Salad", Nurkey Croquettes and Dressing, topped with Mushroom/Onion Gravy, Cranberry Sauce, Sweet potato Pudding, and last but not least my home style "Spicy Winter Greens Medley".

Dessert will have Pumpkin Pie is back by demand and served with Cardamom Whip-creme and a possible Apple Crumble.....possible!
Your cost is $30.00! Come prepared to relax and enjoy the early evening.

Ahhhhh! Thanks-Living Dinner #10 Thanks each and all, past and current! Much Love!

WOW! Chef Olive! Your 10th Annual Thanks-Living Dinner Exceeded my fantasies AGAIN --- & I can speak from Experience -- having attended probably 7 out of the 10! You had your "Standbys" as well as surprises: Your hors'-doevres of orange slices dusted with cinnamon, ripe-to-perfection starfruit slices; salad course of varied lettuces & string beans with gourmet dressing; "nurkey" croquettes--your "answer" to "the bird"; mushroom gravy over nut dressing; apple-cranberry-walnut fruit salad; apple-cranberry sauce that was "just-right" sweet' sweet potato pudding -- & for dessert pumpkin/exotic fruit pie with whipped topping.

You have invented & tweaked to Pefection a Raw Food Traditional Thanksgiving/LIVING Menu.

. . .and you did all this without "elves" to help you -- except the "Elf- in-Chief," your artistic daughter Brett who arranged the table settings, which greeted us in such a festive way.

Though FL-nippy temp. for our outdoor dining, we were warmed by your "Heart-food."

I was looking for a place to go for Thanks Giving as I don't have family here, I usually spend Thanks Giving alone. Finally I saw this event and I am very happy. I hope to make it there and have a good time.

I looked at the weather forecast for Thurs and it looks like it will be cold. Remember to dress warmly as we eat outside.

Dan will be bringing Kangan water. Please get in touch with him by message if you want extra to have as he is not bringing his machine this year. Do it ahead of time so he can meet your needs - Dan Towey!

Thanks so much, Olive!!!!! This will be the third year in a row I can enjoy this holiday with food I am truly thankful for. We are so blessed to have this Thanksliving option. Otherwise, the choice is celebrate the holiday in the traditional way and feel sick afterwards or be a hermit and stay home!

You are soooo welcome! It is soo good to hear you say that Rachael! That is exactly the reason I started hosting it 10 years ago! The food was not always perfect but has gotten better with each year. The best thing is it is plentiful, price is low, and the company (Family) is always the best yet!
