HI,
I'm a newbie and am interested to learn what "gadgets" you just can't live without versus making a wish list that family can give me for holidays. Please don't just give me the name but maybe a website or picture.

If I ever have to do a hasty evacuation, you can bet that my VitaMix & Excalibur dehydrator are coming along for the ride! But as far as "gadgets," I agree that the only things you *really* need are sharp knives (chef & paring, at minimum).

That said, one item I love -- and rely on a LOT -- is my bar spoon! (Marketed toward bartenders) Lets me scrape out every yummy bit of luciousness from the Vitamix canister when I make a fave frozen-banana treat (w/ Medjools, T almond butter, and a little water).
