This group is plugged in locally and offers an excellent grasp of issues and challenges facing the various races. I always learn something new,

It's clear that progressive voices are still much needed to keep our legislators focused on the public good, not corporate needs, wishes and desires.

Politics is important! If you have any doubts about that, think about the changes in the country, as well as internationally that occurred over the past eight years. It all happened because of 500 votes in this state! Now we have an opportunity to fix some of the problems and move forward. Moving forward can be done a little bit at a time, grass-roots, or we can stand by and watch it happen.

This group is friendly and progressive and we seem to be unaminous that Bush is a liar that got us in his crony war... this group also talks about all sorts of progressive practical societal issues too, which is so refreshing ! This group is very interested in universal healthcare, which I am too, due to my adult son with high-functioning autism.

I didn't know what to excpect, but I figured if Nancy was running things, it would be worth attending.

Good to see an organized media group attempting to get letters into the local paper.

  •  It is good that more different and diverse people are involved. This was a progressive open meeting! Onward and upward!

    MaryElizabeth on Sep 6, 2007.

  •  more talk about the war in Iraq than i am used to, but very informative speakers

sharon cameron on Aug 4, 2005.

  •  Good, active, imaginative, serious.

Joan Leslie on Sep 6, 2006.

  •  I am glad that people are concerned and willing to help, but the group appears to lack diversity in at least two domains: 1. ethnicity and 2. class. I also see little focus on local and state issues that directly impact us. I feel that the national picutre is too broad, and that real change begins at home. The efforts initiated so far are nice, but don't seem organized or teleological enough for me.

David Cavalleri on Mar 8, 2005.

  •  alright, not any problems with the way it is working.

Nathan Gant on Jan 5, 2005.

  •  I liked the group... it's always good to have a group of like-minded people come together.

  •  The group was a diverse group united by a common bond. I am encouraged toattend the next meeting. My suggestion for an action plan is to not run away but go deep. The Conservatives speak morality. We MUST DO morality. We need to imbed into the community:The Red Cross, Habitat for Humanity, Boys and Girls of America, Meals on Wheels, shelters. We must meet the people where they are in order to make an impact> Let us show up these phonies for the hot air that they are. There is enough of us and there is work to do. Let's get cracking.

    Sandria on Nov 10, 2004.

  •  I want to know who you are, brothers & sisters in spirit, you who gave all as we ourselves did to what we took, that lifetime ago, to be the perfectly obvious. Yes, I think it vital we meet up with one another. Let's get smart, let's use, to begin with, our many individual skills to effect a representative, profitable coming together.

Jim Rucquoi on Nov 10, 2004.

  •  It was cathartic to hear nearly everyone put voice to their concerns, their fears and their hopes. I'm a firm believer of fixing the party from within and look forward to many active months of changing, essentially protecting/preserving, this wonderful country.

Chris Campbell on Nov 9, 2004.

  •  See the above space. And thanks for asking for this feedback.
