We will meet the outfitter Friday morning at the Branford Boat Ramp who will take us up to the Suwanee River State Park where we will paddle down to Dowling Park. We will eat dinner and Camp at Dowling. Saturday morning, we will meet the group on the B trip at Dowling.

Sounds mouth watering after a long days paddle, doesn't it.
This section of the river has the greatest number of Springs I've ever seen. Think of Weekie Wachie, Juniper springs, silver River times twenty. Each day, we will visit so many springs you will lose count. Some are actual parks, others are hidden, only accessible from the river. Maybe we'll be the first to find a new spring no one knows about yet!
Friday night will be at River Run Campground.http://www.riverruncampground.net/index.html Located at 2739 Us HWY 27 Branford, FL 32008. No need to make your own reservations. Reservations have already been made and included in the price per person. The remainder of the time, we will be staying at the Suwannee River River Camps Peacock Slough and Adams Tract. http://www.floridastateparks.org/wilderness/rivercamps.cfm These facilities have bathrooms with hot water showers, fire pits, picnic tables, and grills. Very nice facilities!
The first day of the paddle (SAT) will be approximately 18 miles with several stops along the way for playing in the beautiful springs. Day 2 (SUN) will be approximately 10 miles also with several stops for spring playing. Day 3 will be approximately 7-8 miles to finish up the trip. This is a a fairly leisure version of the trip since we have plenty of opportunity to play in the water at some of the most beautiful springs in Florida.
The not so fine print....please be responsible for yourself. Bring all of your own safety gear and normal kayaking equipment. Breakfast and dinner will be provided for you; however, dinner on Friday night, lunch, snacks and drinks will be up to you. Please bring plenty of water to hydrate. Alcohol is acceptable in the River Camps! With that said...as a courtesy to others, please drink responsibly. If ANYONE gets out of hand, they will be calling the outfitter to come pick them up at their own expense. Please don't be the one to test this safety rule.
Don't forget folks....... RSVP's are to be paid for using the PayPal button. Please pay when RSVPing, or send me an email letting me know when you'll be paying. Craig -[masked] [masked] Please no pets.
