This a day paddle / NO camping this time.
This trip takes about 3-5 hours without pushing ourselves. Lots of big gators, all shy, and birds. Want to check out the eagles nest - see what kind of activity there might be.
The Old SR 13 railway and trestle was part of the Flagler Railroad System in the early 1900's and today is part of the Florida National Scenic Trail and is used by hikers to cross the Econlockhatchee River.
The last time we did this river, the water was so high we had to go around the bridge, and could have paddled across the bridge.
Come join me....we can be on the water by 9am.
