One of the best ways to get into some of the smaller nooks and crannies of the Wekiva River is in one of our one person kayaks. Kayaking is easy for any age or skill level. We provide the life vests for your safety as well. Must have valid drivers license. Last Kayak Rental leaves Wekiva at 4pm.

Fishing

Bass, Tilapia, Perch, and so much more! Fishing is great right from the banks of the marina or you could take a canoe out into the river. We do not require a fishing license on site, but you will need one in the river. Remember to bring your tackle box!

Picnicking

Picnicking

With over 200 picnic tables surrounding the swimming lagoon, there is no shortage of fun places to set up for the day with your family. Complete with umbrellas to block the sun and grills for hamburgers and hot dogs, it’s gonna be a fantastic day!

We have camps sites 19, 20 and 21 and also the Capt Cove for our camping this weekend. When you check in Friday Identify yourself as as Slacker staying in these sites and they will direct you to them.
You need to pay on the PayPal site by 6:00pm tonight or notify me of other payment plans so that I can identify the people who are camping. I believe Ed, Jim and Julie N the only people who are paying me at the site or are bringing and RV or pop up .

Hello, I was going to bring a guest and a 7 year old because this looks like the perfect place for kids. I will kayak with group alone and they will swim and play back at campground doing waterslides. So, why does it say guests must be 21 when clearly this is a family park and they will not interfere with the group and our kayaking plans? Thanks. I am looking forward to this trip as I have never been here before.

    July 22, 2013

    • Sam G.

This will be a good place for kids. The 7 year old does not need ID.
