  • Julians House

THIS EVENT LIMITED TO THOSE WOMEN WHO HAVE NEVER ATTENDED THIS EVENT !!!!

Learning how to shoot a firearm doesn't have to be intimidating if you have the proper instruction. Whether for personal safety or plinking for fun, this is an opportunity for LADIES ONLY to try out a variety of weapons on a shooting range with qualified instructors that will teach you firearm basics and ensure absolute safety. We ask that you only sign up if  you have limited experience with firearms. Your instructors includes a National Rifle Association Shooting Instructor, an Olympic Shooting Sports Student and Trained Range Safety Officers. Your instructors have many years of experience.

This will be an early day of basic firearm safety and introduction to the shooting sports. This is for LADIES ONLY. Sorry, NO men allowed !!  We want this to be all about a prepared, safe, comfortable, and a low stress environment for the ladies only. This event will provide valuable information to women interested in acquiring basic and beginning firearms safety and gun handling skills. This will be a great opportunity for anyone thinking about buying a handgun for personal protection. You will have a chance to try out many different kinds of handguns.

After instruction, all ladies will be given the opportunity to practice their skills on the range and given individual instruction with a variety of rifles, and pistols. Firearms and limited ammo will be provided, but if you would like to bring your own personal firearms and ammo, that is fine, but please leave them in your car unloaded and we will check them before removing them from your vehicle..

Participants are encouraged to bring sun screen, a hat, bug spray, food and drink/water and any other personal items for this morning event. If you have your own safety glasses or hearing protection, please bring them. We have a few just in case. You will be required to wear eye and ear protection at all times on the range. And dress comfortably, we will be outside in the HOT July morning sun. The fee for this event will be $25.00 to pay for ammunition.

This is an event only for those women who have NOT attended this event in the past. Since this has been so popular we are not allowing guests !

The meeting location will be emailed just before the event. We will meet at 8:00 AM near Narcoosee at Julian's residence in the vicinity south of the Orlando International Airport and then we will all ride in four wheel drive vehicles to the gun range near Holopaw, FL.. You will be taking an exciting outdoor adventure as well as a day of firearm training and shooting!! As a bonus, plan on a late Pot Luck Lunch when we return from shooting. Bring your special dishes and we can put them inside Julian's house before we leave . A stove and kitchen is available. After lunch we can hang out in the gazebo down at the lake !!

PLEASE READ THIS CAREFULLY: Per the Electronic Records and Signatures Act the simple act of RSVP'ing for this event, you are forever releasing all current and future claims for any liability for injuries, damage, scrapes, bruises, animal bites or death that you may sustain while at this event. Even though shooting is one of the safest sports out there, injuries can and do occur with any outdoor activity.

I decided to start Reno Motorcycle Riders Group because I wanted to be part of a group of people who enjoyed my passion... I was excited and nervous. Our group has grown by leaps and bounds. I never thought it would be this big.
