Day Hike Little Big Econ Forest - Shuttle to Mill Dam for camping

This is just a short drive from Mills Dam, so why not take advantage of it? We will meet at the trailhead on the FT and proceed into the state forest and pick up some of the loop trails. Use the URL's provided below of the trail maps. I would like to hike along the Econ on the Florida Trail, then take the Flagler Trail for a short while and loop back on the White Trail and/or some loops into the forest. We can take a vote.

I plan around 5 - 8 miles tops for this one. I have never been here, so this one is exploratory for me, too.

Bring water, snacks, lunch ... whatever you need to be comfortable on a day hike.

If you would like a map, please go to the URLs provided below and make a copy to bring with you.

Can you confirm you really are going to little big Econ? I live by there but to Scott's point, not sure we are all thinking of the same place since it is not that close to mills dam

Yes, this is the little Big Econ in Oviedo, but you probably won't see this before you get there...

Hi Sheri, I've hiked and camped that section of the FT several times. I can suggest some trails, or a one-way with shuttling.
