Geo-Kayaking

Geo-Caching around Lacon. Will be searching for the ones under water last time; and may plant one or two new. Expect to paddle for a 1 or 2 miles and then get out of the kayaks and wander around the shoreline looking for the cache. This will be repeated a couple of times. Led by a couple of experience geo-cachers I know.

I had a great time. I never geocached before. I think I would like puzzle ones though - or more minions like Ben's friend Brian - who can climb trees.

Final notes; by 8:30 be ready to launch your boat, wear long sleeves and pants since we could be breaking brush, and expect the take - outs to be muddy / mucky, so pay attention to your footwear. Bryan has 1 or 2 new caches ready to plant, and is checking to see if any of the caches we haven't done have survived, or if the owners know.

If you want to sign the cache, you should have an ID on www.geocaching.com. But its not required to find them; only the polite thing to do to sign them.

I started the group because there wasn't any other type of group like this. I've met some great folks in the group who have become close friends and have also met some amazing business owners.
