Lets talk about a driving event and plan on visiting Nashville IN for some twisty roads. At the same time, we have some new members to welcome. The Paradise bakery is the best spot for all of us to gather, and also conduct a little club business. I will go ahead and schedule the driving event for Nashville, lets discuss the options, and roads to check out.
Welcome to our club! If you are a past member, or interested in Italian cars, especially Fiat, and Alfa Romeo, this is the home for you. My name is David Nicholson, and I have belonged to this club for 5 years now. I would like to thank past President Mike Walsh for his leadership in the last 10 years. Mike asked that I take over at the helm of the club based on my enthusiasm for Italian automobiles, especially Fiat. I am a member of FLU ( Fiat Lancia Unlimited ) http://fiatlanciaunlimited.org/ . My wife Carol and I have attended some national and regional events associated with FLU, and have many "Italian" friends across the country. We are anxiously waiting to attend the FLU FiatFreakout this summer at Asheville NC. Especially exiting to me will be the auto tour of the " Tail of the Dragon " which will be journeyed by numerous Fiat and Italian cars. Our "cousins" in Chicago, and in Michigan have hosted many Fiat related events which we have visited in the past. Also we attended the Fiat " DixieFest " in Winston-Salem NC last summer. Our goals for this year are simple and modest. I am a believer in fully enjoying our cars, they were built to be driven, and shown off!!! All our members are important, and I hope this to be a platform for like-minded individuals to enjoy and admire vintage sports cars. Events, technical data and assistance, parts sources and vendors, cool Magazines and links to articles, and Links to Italian minded clubs and their events are all part of what WE can do here. So if you see a FiatFreak driving around central Indiana in a bright Orange 1979 Fiat Spider, its most probably me! Thanks, and welcome!
