I'm Dave, and I head up the group, with some help from my friends. I work hard on my little Fiat, and enjoy spending time with my I car friends. Bring what you have, we like them all! But, lets keep the fun to Italian cars, with a few exceptions.
1979 Fiat 124 Spider
The shorter list would be of things I am not interested in. I don't eat brussel sprouts, and I have never been to the Opera...
I have Fiat buddies all over the country. We love to drive out Fiat out of state, and always have returned! One day, I would like to just hit the road for a few months in my little Orange car.
Home of round ball, and race cars
Seems like I am always upgrading my Spider. If it ain't broke, make it faster!
I had a great time attending my fourth Freakout. Tim Love and Troy Ware were attending their first FFO, and I think they had a very fun time. Tim was very lucky with the raffle tickets and took home a lot of free gifts. We should have tried to all meet at some point. I was on a limited schedule, I wish I could have arrived earlier. We also met Paul Blaylock, our friend from Evansville. Shaun Miller was also there, he said he really enjoyed driving his Fiat Spider. Ashley Miller drove her 500L too. I think the Chicago group did a fine job hosting this years FFO, I was very impressed!
David, I would like to thank you for welcoming me to your club. Also thank you for posting the pictures of my little gem. I could not of done it... I am looking forward to meeting in April...Have a great Holiday!!!
yesterday on I65 - around Zionsville - I spotted an original Fiat 600 heading south on 65 - it was a white sedan - hope he finds our group. maybe someone in Zionsville area knows him.
The oil has been changed, the tires are checked and the Fiat's running well right now. I'm headed off to the F.U.N. event in about two hours and cannot wait.
Look forward to Ft. Ben. Where is everyone meeting? Hope to have Fiat back by then. She's getting some lipstick.
Still needs some mechanical work......
David- I guess I am a little confused. I got on the facebook page and it links me back to this Meetup page, yet the Meetup site looks to be a bit dated. Is the club doing the St Maria Goretti event this year? Saturday night the 9th of July (Coming up quick). What time? -Lafayette Bruce
Thanks Dave, look forward to meeting you and other members. Does anyone in the group know a good mechanic. Believe or not my Fiat has not been to a mechanic in 10 years, and they re out of business. Mostly need suspension work. Thanks.
Dave: I have not had many replies to the request for emails. Do you have any? Also, we need to announce the details of the get-together at our house Sept. 25. Thanks. Dave.
Thanks for taking over as leader of the club. I'm looking forward to the events that are planned.
