Purpose of this Meetup Group:

This group is committed to introducing women and inspiring real friendships in our local area.   Who should join this group?  All women who value friendship!  If you are a woman who values real friendships and knows how to be a good friend—we will gladly welcome you.  We welcome all women who are ready to expand their circle of friends, are committed to being a good friend and are committed to the process of making great friendships happen!  

Some important side notes to consider before joining:

• The majority of our group members are over the age of 35.

     (The two hosts of this group are ages 38 and 40)

• I want to keep this group relatively small (around 75-100 members) as to encourage real friendships.
• REMEMBER, MEETUP'S PURPOSE IS TO CREATE REAL, FACE-TO-FACE COMMUNITY.  Our members are truly serious about making real life, offline friends.  After you join, if you haven't attended ONE Meetup in 6 months time or more, or no one has met you in the group in that time period (which is a pretty long time), this Meetup group probably doesn't appeal to you for a variety of reasons and you may want to remove yourself from the group and/or join back at another time.   Also, after a long time period, strangers/lurkers are eventually removed (the main reason:  our security, whereabouts and personal info. take priority... this is actually the main reason for removal of group members we do not know/never met in person...to protect our privacy).   
• Meetups are mostly in East Brunswick, NJ 08816 and surrounding areas.  Some of our past Meetups have occurred in East Brunswick, Edison, Iselin, Metuchen, North Brunswick, Old Bridge, Piscataway, Perth Amboy, Woodbridge and numerous other places.
• If your plans change and you no longer can attend an event, you are responsible for updating your RSVP to reflect that change. After two "no-shows" from events you said you would attend, you will be removed from the group.  (This rule is basically just for the new members, because all of our current members are very considerate and have this common sense.  lol)
• Unlike other groups, this Meetup Group is definitely * not* about Quantity.  The member list will be a "true list" of people actively committed to this process of making real friends (true circles of friends).  For example, you'll see other meetup groups with 1,000 members, but 900 of those members are dead/inactive Meetup accounts that are never deleted from the list.
• Also, unless I have already met you, please post a picture of YOURSELF somewhere in your profile.  It's for security reasons and it is also helpful to find you at Meetups.  Thanks.
