External Event: Festival of the Spoken Nerd - Technobabble

Some of you will remember Helen Arney closed the show at our very successful Stand Up for Darwin Evening in February. Helen is one third of the Spoken Nerd, and we thought you might like to see her again along with Matt Parker and Steve Mould.
**** "A riotously funny show about science… brimming with unashamed geekery” - Three Weeks
“Charm and perky curiosity is in its DNA” – Guardian
Prepare to switch yourselves off and on again as Festival of the Spoken Nerd return to the Bloomsbury Theatre with another great new show.
This time, stand-up mathematician Matt Parker, TV experiments guy Steve Mould and geek songstress Helen Arney will be delving deep inside the computer - and then attempting to put it back together afterwards with some help from digital artist Seb Lee-Delisle and 500 glow-sticks.

Hold on to your bits for a comedy night that covers the whole ZX Spectrum from computers made of dominoes to the future of artificial intelligence plus special guests, interactive experiments and a few extra surprises. Whether you're a Mac, a PC, or just a human being, don't miss another sellout night of science and silliness.

Discount balcony tickets now available! Call the Box Office on[masked] and quote "NYAN CAT" to get best available circle seats for £10. Tickets can also be booked online at for regular price £14/£12 concessions.
Festival of the Spoken Nerd is now more accessible! The final show on 18th April incorporates Stagetext, a live speech-to-text transcription on stage for deaf, deafened and hard of hearing people. To book "Stagetext" tickets for the final night at the discount £10 price, email [masked] or call[masked] 8822.
