There are few places that do not offer a vegetarian option these days. There is a link to the pub above please contact them for their menu and prices, I have just looked and they are just about to change their menu details.

A very pleasant afternoon! The only complaint of course is that we didn't win...

Looks like I probably won't make this but I'll see nearer the day. (Am removing my name in the meantime as it's a numbers limited event and don't want to block anyone who can definitely come)

I haven't been to an Humanist event this year!! Shock horror, so it's about time I did again *grins*

Not sure if anyone will remember me or not, but looking forward to meeting everyone.

It's full otherwise I'd come. Are you going to take money before the event to make sure it's full up? Looks like a repeat may be needed.

    July 22, 2013

    • Helen

Dave there are 12 places remaining at present.

That map is wrong by the way - the Rose and Crown is in Church Place on the corner with Church Gardens, just to the right of the words St Marys Road.

Thanks Adrian, the main focus of the day is the croquet, so I put the map up for the Club rather than the pub, also most atheists seem to have little difficulty finding a pub ; )

The map flag shown is for the entrance to Lammas Park that is nearest to the Croquet Club. Agreed the Rose & Crown is to the east in Church Place, close by. Given that most people are likely to head to the pub first, it would be better if the flag was there.

Cynthia and Henry were playing croquet... this could turn exciting! (little reference for Genesis fans there)
