CLHG Social & Slogan & Chant Competition for the Secular Europe March & Rally

Please join us for a fun and creative social evening over a drink to come up with some slogans for our placards and songs, chants, or rhymes to use at the 6th annual Secular Europe March & Rally on Saturday 14th September.

We will be meeting in a private upstairs room at the pub, just ask at the bar if you can't find us, but we will try to put a sign up.

The Secular Europe Campaign March and Rally has become an annual event to celebrate all we have achieved in Secularism, to demand more and to have a jolly good time with like minded people.

We march to be seen, to be heard, to support others that are struggling to achieve their basic human rights and to show that we are a growing force that will stand up for what we believe in and will challenge what is unbelievable.

See full details of the March & Rally in separate Section on Meetup below.

Please also register to come to the march on Meetup and tell your friends about it through Facebook and Twitter.

You can use and adapt this draft tweet if you wish.

Join the Secular Europe March. Be seen be heard be Secular! 14th Sept 2013. Equal rights for all #SECM2013

There is no specific time to turn up this evening just pop in from 6.30 p.m. onwards like our normal social for as long as you wish and have fun chatting and being creative.

There will be prizes for the best chant and best slogan.

Anyone unable to make it can simply add their suggestions to the comments section below.

Last years best chant was, 2,4,6, 8 seperate church and state.

We are sure you can do better.

cannot make it monday evening, but will come to the march.

    how about:

    Make the state an apostate!

keep religion in the church keep the culprit in the pulpit.

    have to think more
and thinking is the most difficult activity there is

And thank you, Kieron, for posting your thoughts. It certainly prompted us to reflect on a number of things ...

Thanks for removing those images. This this much better, and is a truer reflection of CLHG and humanism.

Sorry to miss this - and the rally. I'll be away from home.

Dear oh dear. 'Stop abortions priests need more children to abuse',, and 'Vaticunt'.. Is this the level we need to stoop to get our point across...? Is this crudeness the reason why the march and rally have faltered recently.? If the above are an example of what is expected of us to come up with at this meeting,, ,,, then count me out.

Kieron, I hope you change your mind and come along to dazzle us with slogans that are suitably witty and hard hitting. Remember also that the pictures you dislike are for last years march. You can help make this years event so much better and more literate.

On this topic i don't have time to write short posts,, so i have started a threat in discussion, where they don't have a limit of a 1000 characters. Its in the campaign and activism section, or,,, just above the dormant bits. ;-)
