We would like to welcome all our members and supporters to our 5th Annual General Meeting.
2013 has been another successful year for the Central London Humanist, but we would like your help in deciding the events and the activities that the group will plan for the coming year and beyond. Whether you are a supporter, non-voting member or voting member please come along and take part in our review of the year and our plans for the future.
Please become a voting member as we would like you to help us decide the future of the Group.
PLEASE NOTE that we have 'Voting' and 'Non-Voting' members. Only people who are paid up members of the BHA can vote at the AGM or become a member of the organising committee.
Are you a full member of the CLHG?

The growth of our Group is somewhat overwhelming, we now have nearly 2000 supporters and members in total. With so many new members and supporters we hope we can achieve much more in 2014. We know that some of you would like to get more involved. If so, then please think about putting yourself forward for election to the Committee.
Apart from the official roles of Chair, Secretary and Treasurer, we will be electing up to 10 other members to the Committee.
Please contact us if you wish to discuss further what being a member of the committee involves. The job is not huge, the Committee officially meets about four times a year, as we are able to discuss and resolve most issues by e-mail or at other meetings.
If you are a Voting Member and would like your name to be put forward for election, please let us know formally by e-mail no later than Wednesday 19 December 2013, enclosing your name, contact details and an indication of the role you would like to take in the Committee.
We are also looking for people willing to assist the committee, so please do get in touch if you feel you could help the group in any way. The more hands and mind we have helping the more we can do.
You can email us at [masked].
Take a look through our past events (here) and if you think there is something else we could do please come along and share your thoughts with us.
Once the official business of the AGM is over we will socialise with cheese and wine provided by the committee.
Below is the provisional Agenda.
Again if you are a Voting Member and you would like to propose any resolution for debate at the AGM, please let us have the wording no later than 19 December 2013. It will need to be seconded by two other Voting Members, but we can help you arrange this.
