Central London Humanist Group Social

Every first Wednesday of the month we meet for a social evening at a central London pub. Please drop by if you're non-religious and you would like to meet like-minded people in a relaxed atmosphere.

If you're just questioning your beliefs and aren't sure where to turn, or you are non-religious and looking for an interesting evening of debate and good company, this could be just right for you.

Some people arrive at 6.00 p.m. straight after work, but there is no specific time to be there and people arrive throughout the evening. Quite often a group of us are still engaged in debate at closing time.

A voluntary donation of £2 suggested - but first timers are welcome to give us a free trial.

You'll find us on tables with signs saying reserved for humanists, normally about 40 people turn up so we are pretty easy to find, and a very friendly group, so please come along and meet us. We look forward to seeing you there.

Had some stimulating conversations, but although I stayed later than usual, I still found it too noisy for cross-table stuff.

I am here but I can't see anyone yet. Is anyone here?

Hi David I do hope you found the group last night. The group took up most of the left hand section of the pub at the back on tables marked reserved for Humanists.

Thanks. I did find the group shortly after my message and I had a nice evening. I look forward to the next one.

A fascinating bunch of freethinkers in a pub with excellent beer with terrible acoustics.

Hi. I'm here too. First-timer so I don't recognise anyone. Meet by the door on the left when you come in?

Stuart I do hope you and David found the rest of the group last night. We took up most of the tables at the back of the pub on the left hand side. In future ask the bar staff if you can't find us. Tables are also marked reserved for Humanists.

I started the group because there wasn't any other type of group like this. I've met some great folks in the group who have become close friends and have also met some amazing business owners.
