Central London Humanist Group Social

Every first Wednesday of the month we meet for a social evening at a central London pub. Drop by if you're non-religious and you would like to meet like-minded people in a relaxed atmosphere.

If you're just questioning your beliefs and aren't sure where to turn, or you are non-religious and looking for an interesting evening of debate and good company, this could be just right for you.

A voluntary donation of £2 suggested - but first timers are welcome to give us a free trial.

You'll find us on tables with signs saying reserved for humanists, normally about 40 people turn up so we are pretty easy to find, and a very friendly group, so please come along and meet us.

I enjoyed it, love to meet new people and talk about something profound, but I would like to talk to people in a more quiet place where there is no need to talk very loud due to the background noise !!!! : )

Great to meet so many new and interesting people. I hope a number of them will join us at the AGM - you don't need to be a paid-up BHA member to attend

I would like to thank you for being so welcoming on the first day. I realise I was a little quiet and shy today, and listened much more than I spoke. I would also like to apologise for having to leave early. Hopefully next time I will be there until the end and communicate with all of you better.

A nice way to kick off the New Year, though I left after 2030h as the pub's quite expensive and I need to economise in January. However, nice conversation with plenty of new and existing members from 1730 - conversations ranged from death, to creationism, to the intricacies of the 'stud' process for racing horses to the circumnavigation of Australia by Captain Cook: much more interesting than you'll get at your average Sunday service!

Hi Joe, you have asked if there will be any signs for where we will be sitting. I have one sign (before my printer stopped). I have seen your picture and will look out for you.

For Jason Moreno (and others that don't know the way)
get to Euston/ Euston Square or Kings Cross/ Pancras by bus/ train, tube or so. and at the north side of Euston road (where the cars go from Euston to Kings X) you will find the Chalton street, walk into the street and somerstown coffee house is on your right.

I regret not to attend to this one, I am going to France for Festivus, Jeebusmas and New Year celebrations. Will try to bring cheese and/or wine with me when I return, but I doubt the Customs officers will allow it. ...Au revoir mes amis!
