Subject: [crosscultural-39] Day out to Down House: The home of Charles Darwin!
Dear fellow Humanists
On Sunday 26th of September 2008 we are taking a day trip to Down House, the home of Charles Darwin: The father of Evolution!
Luckily for us Down House is very near to London and close to many transport links.
This makes organising our trip much easier.
WHERE WILL WE MEET
We will all be meeting at 10:30am at London Bridge station where we will be taking a train south towards Down House.
HOW MUCH WILL IT COST
Admission to Down house is as follows:
English Heritage Members: Free
Family Ticket: ?18.50
If enough people RSVP (10+) we will also be hiring a private guide to show us around.
This Tour will cost no more than ?4 per person and will last just over an hour.
When: October 26,[masked]:30 AM
Where: Down House
Kent BR6 7JT
Price: GBP3.00 per person
You can always get in touch with me through the "Contact Organizer" link on Meetup: http://crosscultural.meetup.com/39/suggestion/
PS) Please only RSVP "yes" if you know you can make it on the day as we will be booking a tour based on the number of people RSVPing and this will cost people money!
