What should the name of our organisation be and what words should be in the logo?

Someone suggested that in the logo rather than Humanist Group of Central London the word group should be omitted. The explanation offered was that: "Group sounds a bit formal and possibly off-putting to new people, humanists is nicely vague."

Would members be interested in an organised group trip to the Darwin exhibition?

The new Darwin - Big Idea exhibition has just opened at the Natural History Museum in London. Following CLHG's successful trip to Down House to see Darwin's birthplace, some organisers have discussed the idea of following up to see the results of his great scientific discovery that the earth is billions of years old and that all animal species developed through the process of natural selection. We can gather expressions of interest from members here, then the organisers can get around to......organising something in the new year.

This month we are reading a non-fiction! I have not put all of them up as we have far too many! They will be on the next vote!
