Hello,

Just recently got some bad news about my car,that she needs to replace:
Timing Chain (it is too stretched out)
Timing Extender
Vacuum Pump

All that with labor would cost me over $2500 at the dealer.

Does anyone know outside of a dealer that could be more affordable?

Unfortunately, my warranty rain out in March. So no maintenance package.

I have been searching online and this sounds like the "death rattle" problem that some minis are having. I have a 2008 and it seems to exactly what that lawsuit is all about. :(

Try Carriage House Automotive in Frederick, MD. In my experience, they charge substantially less than the dealership for the same work.
