CMP Community Event - MD Faerie Festival Field Trip!

Join us for a faerie frolic on Saturday, May 12th at the Maryland Faerie Festival.

This event has great vendors, entertainment and FANTASTIC children's programming.  It's a great day of spring fun with the added bonus of WINGS!

Tickets will be $15.00 for adults and $5.00 for children 12 and under

**Remember, this event goes on Saturday and Sunday so if you can't come with us, you can still enjoy the Festival**

Things the Faeries Want you to Know

Costumes: It’s perfectly okay to come in street clothing but we encourage attendees to wear costumes or other playful attire. For those who opt to come in costume we give a $1 discount off the admission price. If you choose to wear an elaborate costume, you may want to participate in our fashion show.

Weapons: We require all weapons to be peace tied with a plastic cable tie. This includes, but is not limited to, toy weapons, decorative weapons, costume weapons, lethal weapons and imaginary weapons.  Furthermore,  anything that looks like a weapon, feels like a weapon, smells like a weapon or sounds like a weapon will be considered a weapon and subject to our weapons policy.  Peace ties are available at the front gate.

Outside Food: Our event offers several food vendors, but you are welcome to bring a picnic lunch along with blankets and chairs.

We will have alcohol sales on site this year.  Drinking is permitted but  drunkenness will not be tolerated

No Pets: Due to site restrictions we cannot allow attendees to bring their pets or familiars to the festival.  Service animals are always welcome.

Handicapped Friendly: Buildings are all handicapped accessible, however, it is a grass site, so please plan accordingly.  Parking fields and some parts of the site can get muddy when wet.  Please wear appropriate footwear and watch your step.

I'm sending my phone number out to everyone. We are going as long as it's not pouring.

I may head over for a while. Waiting primarily to see what the weather looks like. That's a pretty damn long ride from here just to get rained on. Would be nice to see/hear KIVA play again....

I will not be carpooling because I will have a full car, but I suggest that other people do!
