Peer-Led Hands-On Workshop: Visions Boards! SECOND WORKSHOP DATE

  • Dec 15, 2013 · 1:00 PM
  • This location is shown only to members

Due to space constraints and the busy time of year, we are offering a second workshop in addition to the one scheduled for Thursday, December, 12th.

Vision boards are a powerful way to bring our desires into being. We will learn about this powerful manifestation tool.  Then, we will set our intention and create a sacred creative space for the activity of creating our own vision boards for 2014. You can choose to create a general vision board, or focus on one or more specific areas.

CMP will provide poster board, magazines, and other art supplies. However, if you have specific ideas of what you would like to bring into your life, feel free to collect images beforehand and and bring them with you...a brochure for that vacation, a picture of your dream house, a job description for your next career move. Wanna start a healthier lifestyle? Bring images of healthy food and activities that interest you. What a life full love, happiness, freedom? Choose images that represent those feelings for you. Or any image you find along your journey that speaks to you, even go online and print it out.

There will be art supplies provided (yes, even glitter), but extra glue sticks and scissors are always helpful, and old magazines you want to donate to the group will be welcome.

Join CMP in our Fall Food Drive. We will be collecting food items for the Maryland Food Bank and pet food and litter for BARCS, the Baltimore Animal Rescue and Care Shelter.

Typically we will have a seasonal celebration or a peer-led workshop.  As we grow we are looking forward to hosting more local teachers and elders.

Please remember we value your company more than anything else, so please don't worry if you don't feel like sharing, we would like to spend the evening with you regardless!

We are a donation based group so any contribution is appreciated.  Supplies, space, and website fees must be paid for, and your generous contributions help us grow and offer even better events in the future!

Well tended children are welcome at the meet up but please bring something to interest them.

Please Note: To protect our Host's privacy the exact address will be emailed out the week of the meet-up to those who RSVP yes.

The only thing not 100% perfect was that so few were there. Of course this did mean more soup for us, so it was all good. :) I was surprised at how meaningful making the boards was. Cutting was communal and fun, but the pasting was quiet and mindful, almost like meditation. And I found a special personal meaning in one of my cutouts that I didn't notice till I was finished, so it seemed the communication was two-way. Really a spiritual afternoon.

It will be a hike for me, but I love vision boards. I haven't made a physical one as all of mine is a digital creation

I decided to start Reno Motorcycle Riders Group because I wanted to be part of a group of people who enjoyed my passion... I was excited and nervous. Our group has grown by leaps and bounds. I never thought it would be this big.
