On Friday, September 6th we will be creating the 2nd annual "Path of Remembrance" which is 2,977 American flags placed along Putty Hill Ave in Parkville to honor and remember the 2,977 lives lost on 9/11 during the terrorists attacks.
We will meet at 7:30am to begin placing the flags of remembrace.
343 flags will be placed in front of the Parkville Fire Station in honor of the 343 FDNY firefighters who gave their all to save others.
60 flags will be placed in front of the Parkville Police Station in honor of the 37 NJ/NY Transportation Authority Police and 23 NYPD Officers who gave their all to save others.
The remaining 2,574 flags will be set on both sides of Putty Hill Ave from Old Harford to Harford Road.
At 3pm we will also set 911 flags in front of Chesapeake Harley Davidson in Darlington for the 2nd annual Patriot Day Ride on Saturday September 7th.
All are welcome to attend to show your support to the riders along the route from Darlington to Parkville from 11-11:40am. A candlelight vigil will be held on Wednesday 9/11 beginning at 7:30pm at 2531 Putty Hill Ave in Parkville.
