The Day to Play is from 2 to 5 p.m. Saturday, May 11, in the Remington neighborhood (near Charles Village, Hampden, and the Johns Hopkins Homewood Campus). The event includes field day games such as corn hole and potato sack races, a softball tournament and a scavenger hunt throughout the neighborhood at different businesses. There will also be an after-party at 6 p.m. with live music, food and beer.
Volunteers are needed to assist with the scavenger hunt, lawn games, set up, take down, as umpires and with registration. Volunteers get a free ticket to the event and a free beer at the after-party. Those interested in volunteering can email me at [masked].
