Shifts Available:

Floaters are critical to the support of Artscape! We need you!

We depend on Floaters throughout the festival to fill in and support volunteer areas that are experiencing a shortage of staff. Floaters also act as back-up for other volunteers for breaks and such. This position is all encompassing and designed for volunteers who are up for anything! Floaters must be flexible, and ready and willing to do almost any of the other volunteer positions.

As a Floater, you may have the opportunity to experience different aspects of the festival including, but not limited to, volunteering in the Target Family Art Park, providing assistance at performing arts events, helping at Volunteer Headquarters, greeting and ushering, etc.

In this position, you would report to the Volunteer Headquarters at Langsdale Auditorium and either wait for your assignment as we determine where coverage is needed or you may be immediately assigned. It would be helpful for you to be well informed regarding what the festival site has to offer. VOLUNTEER TIP: You are welcome to bring a book with you in case you need to wait for an assignment more than 10 or 15 minutes.
