The University of Maryland 'project feast' by medical students on thanksgiving

Greetings from Project Feast!

This coming Thanksgiving Day, Project Feast will be serving our 23rd annual Thanksgiving Feast to nearly 400 homeless men, women, and children in West Baltimore. The event is held at Booker T Washington Middle School (a few blocks from campus) and runs from 10am-2pm. We are in great need of volunteers and there are a number of ways to help out:

- Bake a turkey (we provide the bird, you just pick up, cook, and bring back to us! This is a great way to help out, especially if you are not in town on Thanksgiving Day)
- Volunteer on Thanksgiving Day (anywhere from 8am to 4pm to set up, serve, and/or clean up)
- Provide donations of clothing, non-perishable goods, and paper shopping bags

If you are interested in helping out, we kindly ask you to fill out the following form.

Project Feast has been a success for many years in a row and we couldn't do it without the support of our volunteers! If you have any questions, please feel free to email us at [masked]. Lastly, please feel free to forward this email along to others you think may be interested! Friends and family members are more than welcome!

Gobble gobble,
the Project Feast Committee

I started the group because there wasn't any other type of group like this. I've met some great folks in the group who have become close friends and have also met some amazing business owners.
