Nashua River Rail Trail

We'll be parking in a parking lot right on Groton Street. There's additional parking around the area where there are businesses closed. We'll start on the Ayer, end of the trail and ride to the other end in Nashua, NH, then back to our cars. We usually stop at an ice cream stand in Pepperell on the way back, so you may want to bring a little money with you. The round trip is just over 25 miles, altogether, on a mostly flat surface.

I would be free for the later dates but 25 is too much for me now. Hopefully next year I'll be toned up!!

Hi, I'm Randy-Sue. Like Nancy was mentioning, (I too feel 25 miles is too much), we can still go with the group on the Nashua trip and do a shorter route. We can park in a different area and meet up with the group at the end (I think that's what Nancy was suggesting)> Let me know if you want to join me for the 10 mile, shorter ride.

A nice ride on a beautiful day! It was fun, Nancy. I thought for sure we'd see skydivers!

I'm beat. Yesterdays hike has left me wiped out. Have a great time, I wish I could join you. :)

Maybe start in Pepperell and do a few miles to stretch out?

Real close to signing up for this. Did this trail once and it was great. How's the forecast?

If you meet us in Pepperell, try for 1:00.

As Jerry mentioned, if you're not up for the 25 miles, there is parking near Rt 113 in Pepperell. Round trip bicycling from Pepperell to Nashua is under 10 miles.

Anyone who is not up for the entire trek should park in Pepperell, and join us for the shorter ride.

Hi Nancy, I would like to go but will be out of town. When will you be doing this trail again?

This is scheduled again for September 7.

    Donna,
I'll be planning other rides in the Fall. In general for the Nashua ride, everyone goes at their own pace. (and my pace is quite leisurely). I hope to see you at a future ride!
