RSerenity Farm Tour: Holistic Farm Planning

Holistic Farm Planning -

Dot says: One of the things I hear most from people who talk to me about farming and permaculture is, "I get the concepts but I dont know where to start." By walking you through my place and showing you how we implement our goals and ideas I hope to help you find your own spot to start working your plan.

Finding my peace with my surroundings was a first place with me. Realizing the needs of the other people who live with me was another. These things and what the land says to me is all wrapped up in the design and implementation of the vision that is my homestead.

A work in progress, a long way from fruition, I come home every night and do one more thing on the path to bringing our dream to life. Join me on July 20th and we'll talk.

While at Rserenity Farm you can see a kitchen garden sheet mulched on a gravel hill with swales planted in a french intensive garden method, baby chick pest control in the high tunnel, row boat summer squash, and the overall plan for the future, then and now.

COST: $10-20 sliding scale, payable at the meetup.

We'll have a potluck mid-day, so please bring something to share!  Bring your own potluck kit (plate/bowl/utensils/drinking cup/napkin) so that we can create a zero-waste event!

Cosponsored by the Greater Seacoast Permaculture Meetup Group & the Central NH Permaculture Meetup Group.

Lou and Edie - do you want to carpool from Warner? I sent you both an email with some contact info...

I have changed my RSVP to the Seacoast Permaculture group to facilitate carpooling. Thank you! See you there!

If any of you are coming from closer to the Seacoast, we're arranging a carpool, likely to meet at the route 4 / 125 traffic circle in Lee NH. You can check on the Seacoast site to see details, comment, etc.

Sorry that I can't make it -- the weekend has gotten too full. Hopefully someone can take my space.

Would love to be included. How/when will I know if I move off of the wait list for this event? If I "get in," I'd be interested in carpooling from I89 Exit 9.
