Dave,
I"m in Canterbury too, but don't have barred rocks. If you'd like a mixed flock, we have fertile eggs for "mut" chickens - buff orpingtons, black austerlorps, light brahma, silver laced wyandotte and aracona with a blue laced wyandotte rooster. I'm also interested in your "solar system". We just put 2 hot water flat panels up and hope to add PV in the spring. I'd love to touch base with you! Beth -
