Hello everyone! I started this group to promote yoga as a solution to achieve holistic well-being, especially for those who have multiple health issues and are unsure of which exercise programs to choose from.
As a yoga teacher and practitioner myself, I have encountered numerous students with back pain, joint problems, obesity, arthritis, and various injuries. I have seen first-hand how yoga can do wonders for each condition and rehabilitated people suffering from chronic back pain and arthritic joints. I specialize in yoga for relieving back pain and promoting healthy spines.
There are so many forms of yoga out there, which can be quite daunting to a new student. Even if you have heard many wonderful things about yoga, you may still have doubts as to what it actually is and how it works. I started this group to help educate people about yoga and explain how one can achieve healthy, pain-free lifestyles through consistent practice. In my classes I teach students to become more aware of their bodies, understand the causes of pain and illness and how to practice with intelligence and intuition.
Whether you're completely new to the practice, or have been practicing for a few years, this is the group where you can come to learn more about yoga and yourself. If you've been suffering from back pain and have tried everything else, this is the right place to come to.
We will have weekly meet ups, usually on the weekends. Each meet up will be about 1.5 hours - 1 hour of practice and 30 mins of discussion. Through the meet ups we will get to know each other, share insights into our individual conditions, practice together and help each other become healthier and happier.
