The two contest albums won't hold all the beautiful and interesting pictures you all take in April, so this is the place to put all your gems that don't fit in the contests. Perhaps do some experimenting with out-of-the-box pics. I'd like to see some creativity along with the just plain cool pics. For the pics above I used a magnifying glass and my computer monitor. Let your imagination guide you.
You can, of course, use your creative ideas on contest pictures also.

The Topiary Garden is a living recreation of Georges Seurat's famous post-Impressionist painting, A Sunday Afternoon on the Island of LaGrande Jatte.

The idea for the topiary garden was conceived and sculpted in 1989 by Columbus artist James T. Mason and his wife Elaine, also an artist. The pond is meant to represent the River Seine was installed in late 1989, as were the artificial hills. In the years since its creation, the Topiary Garden has appeared in a multitude of magazines, periodicals, books, and documentaries including Life, National Geographic, The Wall Street Journal, and programs aired on the BBC.

All month we will shoot domestic flower pictures and enter our best five (5) in this album. Then from May 1st to May 7th we will vote for our favorite three (3) taken by others by putting "vote" in the comments. If you already have domestic flower picture from this Spring feel free to include them, up the the limit of 5. This contest is for only flowers sown by Humans. There is another contest for wildflowers, so you can shoot your garden flowers.

Disregard the Meetup start date. They refuse to allow month long events, so the dates are confusing. Just remember shoot and post April 1-30.
