Starting out on a ride, feeling strong and having a good route in mind. The sense of accomplishment and "happy tired" at the end of the ride. Sharing the day with a good friend or if alone listening to favorite tunes as the miles go by.
Having fun is the main thing but I am also in it for fitness and improving myself.
I began biking on a hardtail mountain bike and then tried road biking and have concentrated on that ever since. I enjoy participating in supported day and week rides which give me something to train and look forward to.
