Knapping is the ancient art of forming rock into arrowheads, spear points ect..
On March 23-29th, knappers from all over the country will descend upon Glass Butte to camp, dig and break rocks. It will be a priceless opportunity to sit and learn from some of the best. Those of you who are interested in coming to this event for a day, or several days, are invited to this potluck to visit and make plans. Some of us may want to share rides, so this will be a good opportunity to visit and team up. We will also put some basic tools together for new knappers, and demonstrate some basic knapping. Bring some chow, and maybe some paper plates.
Greet the future, keeping enough of the past alive.
