Join us in learning and practicing primitive skills. They can enhance your outdoor recreation, and offer you a default position in an emergency. We will explore primitive tools, weapons, shelters and clothing. Processing food and hides. Everything from cavemen to mountain men. Stone tools to forging a knife. No matter who we are, we have the blood of stone age ancestors running through our veins. While civilization has made amazing changes in the past 1,000 years, our biology is the same as our ancestors who lived 10,000 years ago. Without judging the modern world, I think that our biology has a longing for the simple connections to lifes processes. And so we run to the lakes, rivers, trails, mountains and trees to get away from the complicated. Enhance that experience with primitive skills and feel a different connection to life.
