BBQ Trail, Stop 1! Stiles Switch BBQ and Brew

It's always fun to find great places to eat, and it's always wonderful to try different BBQ places and get a great "debate" going about what's the best place in Central Texas.  So we're going to have a BBQ Trail series over the next few months, trying different BBQ joints around Austin and Central Texas.  Sometimes they'll be close to home; sometimes there'll be a little bit of a drive.  This is a test of your dedication as a true aficionado of the 'cue!

If you know a place you think is great and you're not afraid that sharing with your fellow Central Texas Foodies will lead to its downfall due to becoming too well known to the hoi polloi, please let me know and I'll put it on the schedule!

First up is Stiles Switch BBQ and Brew.  I have it on good authority that this is as good as Franklin's but without the crowd (yet).  I do know that when I tried their brisket, and took my first bite of the bark, a chill ran from my tastebuds all the way down to my toes, it was just that good.  And the sides aren't anything to sneeze at, either, especially the corn casserole.  Come check it out!

Sure. There's no limit on the number of attendees, so it shouldn't be a problem.

We are actually taking our couples meetup here later that same day or we'd totally be in. It's our fav place. Make sure to ask for the moist brisket and Beef Ribs are awesome!
