Re: [cooking-382] Looking for Restaurant Suggestions and More

Here! Here! I agree!
?
I enjoy cooking good food and I DO cook good food, all kinds and sorts. If you want to check out some good restaurant food for 1/2 price, check out Eddie V's on Sunday & Monday. They have appetizers-great Crabcakes, etc. and great music in the bar. I like to go with my daughter and have those crabcakes, oysters on the 1/2 shell and listen to the music. Such a great atmosphere! Lets all go some?Sunday or Monday...

I'd like to step in here and clarify what Central Texas Foodies is and is not about. ?It is about enjoying good food, good drink, and civil discourse.

If you do not care for someone else's idea, since there are 400+ members and we certainly don't expect everyone to appear at every event(!), simply don't RSVP for that event. ? No need at all to bash someone else's idea, here, even if it IS the internet and that seems to be standard protocol many places on it. ?It is not, here. ?If you feel compelled to comment derogatorily, for fear that someone else will enjoy something you don't, please make those privately to me, not to the meetup at large.

Those that do appreciate the suggestiosn that you don't can attend ?those happily, you can make suggestions that you DO like and those that like yours can attend those, and all will be happy and well-fed by their own lights.
