Central Texas Poker Club is a great social place to hang out for people of all age because this is a fun loving and nice environment. The purpose of this group is to get together with like minded people, socialize, play some poker and above all, have some fun.

A little history about this group...this group has been around since 2004 when it was offline and didn't have a name.  I met Dave and Sylvia at a Red Man Poker Tournament in 2004 when I took Sylvia down with a pair Jacks against her 10's. We have been friends and poker pals every since. Originally playing in Belton and now out in Kempner. The leadership of the group has changed several times since with hundreds of players experiencing a friendly environment to test out their game.

So far the group has been blessed to play with the likes of Pat Poirier who finished 200th in the 2011 WSOP Main event.  During that tournament Pat was the first player to breach the 1 Million chip mark.  As the day 3 chip leader he played day 4 on the feature table with several up and coming 'players to watch'

So please enjoy this group by browsing through files, photo’s, Message Board, members and home page a lot so you can get all the updates and learn a great many things about the poker players as well.

If you are interested in a friendly game of poker please sign up and come play. Hope to see you soon.

I'm surprised by the level of growth I've seen since becoming an organizer, it's given me more confidence in my abilities.
