Great day for exploring history. Got to finally see the timbers this year, so that made it all worth it.

Had a GREAT time - danced with the Native American group, saw the ironworks ruins/remains, listened to the Press Gang singers, watched the Henricus Militia. It was a lot of fun!!

The number has been going up and down between my two groups, but as of writing this, I've got 11 meeting us. Looking forward to catching up to you all tomorrow.

That's great! The more, the merrier. I hope we can spot each other. I'll just put a label on that says CVHS. Everyone can do that unless they want to remain incognito :) I'm not familiar with how this event is staged/organized or I could put a location on here where to meet. We'll just have to wing it!

Thanks for the info! So we're going to try and meet around 1145 at the parking lot where US1/301 splits? Like you said, it's informal, so we should bump into each other anyway if we wear a CVHG sticker. We should get some CFHG ball caps so we can spot each other at events :)

I'll probably be easy to spot. If it's warm enough, I'll be wearing my Falling Creek T-shirt and imagine I'm gonna be egged into wearing my Cat n the Hat hat :>). Don't worry, Tuckers has a chip embedded in me at all times, so they know where I'm at :>).

Donna, wanted to let you know I had this up on my one group; GotRVA; and was recently asked to put it up on the James River Hikers too. Currently, it looks like it'll be 5 of us across the groups who will be joining you all too. RSVP's wouldn't let me respond with more than 2.
