If you are new to tennis and getting into the swing of things, this Meetup is for you.
Open to adults of all ages, we'll hit balls, learn the rules of play and get some exercise.
This Meetup is intended for players who are new to the game or with a USTA rating or self-rating of 1.0-2.5 (beginner).
Tennis balls will be provided! Bring your own beverage.

If there is ANY chance that you cannot attend or be on time, please do not sign up.
If you are on the waiting list, please check to see if you were moved to the playing roster one hour before the start time of the Meetup.
IF YOU REMOVE YOURSELF FROM THIS MEETUP...IT MUST BE DONE AT LEAST 24 HOURS IN ADVANCE! This may give another player a chance to take your place.
By participating, you agree to assume all risks to your person and property. Availability of courts is typically not a problem, but not guaranteed.
Thank you Chris for teaching this great sport! Your love for tennis really shows!

Want great tennis instructions along with practice....for free?!!!! Come out and join us!!!! Your strokes, serve, and game will improve the more you come and the more you practice! I don't get to practice with someone often but I can say I am definitely hitting the ball (and keeping in the court!), keeping a volley going, learning to keep score, correct way/best way to hold the racquet and much more than I knew three months or so ago!!

If anyone has the desire to learn to play this is the perfect opportunity. If Chris has the patience to teach me, he can definately teach you!

I will let the group know at about 8:00am if we need to cancel due to weather. We have strange weather, sometimes. It might be raining at my house, but not at the courts, just a couple of miles away.

I think it's supposed to rain in the morning. Will we get notification if the meetup is canceled?

Please note that we have changed our "remove" policy. Please review the "Tennis Lean to Play!" Meetup narrative for details.
